Known as “Run Machine”, Mushfiqur Rahim is one of the most popular of Bangladesh. He is the first Bangladeshi player who has made Test double ton in the 12 years history of the Test cricket arena. Though he played a role of wicket keeper, now he is a right handed fast batsman.
Mushfiqur Rahim was born in 9 May 1988 in Bogra. His full name is Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahim nickname Mushy. He is called Mona by his mother. His fathers name is Mahabub Habib and mothers name is Rahima Khatun. He received his early study from Bogra Zilla School and BKSP like Shakib Al Hasan. Then he admitted himself into the Department of History at Jahangir Nagar University and obtained first-class degree.
Mushfiqur Rahim Career
When studying BKSP Mushfiqur Rahim learned cricket. He started his career as a player of Bangladesh under-19 squad. He was able to come to the spotlight after showing better performance in 2007 World Cup against India. Mushfiq showed his terrific performance by doing individual highest score in the test cricket against Srilanka on March 2013 at Galle Test when he hits in the two hundred.
At the age of 16 he made his test debut son 26 May 2005, during Bangladesh’s first tour of England. Rahim made his ODI debut on 6 August 2006 against Zimbabwe. Between August 2009 and December 2010he was the vice-captain of Bangladesh cricket team.
Besides Bangladesh cricket team Mushfiq represent Rajshahi Division, Duronto Rajshahi, Sylhet Royals, Sylhet Division, Karachi King, sNorth Zone Bangladesh.
Mushfiqur Rahim got married with Jannatul Kifayet in 25th September, who is the sister-in-law of his team mate Mahamudullah. Thus make them in-laws.
