Rubel Hossain is an important pace bowler of Bangladesh Cricket Team. He is a superman of 2015 World Cup who carried Bangladesh into the quarter final. He can deliver better pace and bounce consistently.
Rubel was born on 1st January, 1990 in Khulna, Bagerhat. His full name is Mohammad Rubel Hossain. His father Siddikur Rahaman was a very poor man who couldn’t execute his family’s daily requirements. Despite of being a son of a poor family he dinn’t give up hope and didn’t give up playing cricket. It is still to date. Rubel completed his school education from Bagerhat Govt. High School and college education from Bagerhat Govt College.
Rubel was very interested in playing cricket. But his poverty was the main resist to play. But when GrameenPhone arranged a campaign to find pace bowler from the root level of the country, Rubel joined there and selected. Thus gradually he turned into a key player of Bangladesh National Team.
Rubel Hossain Career
Rubel made his debut in the ODI against Srilanka at Dhaka in 14 June, 2009 and he picked four wickets for 33 run. He made his T20I debut against India at Nottinghum in 6 June, 2009. his first Twenty20 Match was Bangladesh Vs Ireland at Eglinton on 27 June, 2008. Rubel made a Hattric as a 3rd Bangladeshi bowler in the ODI against New Zealand on October 9, 2013. In 2015 World Cup Rubel Hossain picked a four wicket by 53 runs and Bangladesh entered into the Quarter final for the first time. Rubels major teams are Bangladesh, Bangladesh-A, Bangladesh Under-19s, Chittsgng Kings, Khulna Division, South Zone (Bangladesh) etc.

Rubel Hossain framed a rape case by Bangladeshi film actress Naznin Akter Happy, who was his ex-girlfriend. It was a great threat to Rubel for his career. But suddenly Happy withdrew the charges. Recently Rubel tied with Israt Jahan Dola, daughter of a businessman according to family choice.
